About PaddleClub

What we do

For each city, we count the public pickleball courts residents can actually use, compare that with how many the city needs, and collect the signatures of residents asking for more. When a city is ready, PaddleClub writes an independent court report and brings it, with the signer count, to the city council.

Every city page answers the same questions: where you can play today, how many courts are dedicated to pickleball, and how many the city needs.

PaddleClub is free to use and independent. It is not affiliated with any paddle brand, league, rating system, or court-listing site.

How we check courts

• Official sources first: cities, school districts, and public agencies. A venue's own operator can confirm its count.
• News reports are labeled as reported. Listing sites and maps are leads, never sources.
• Every fact carries its source and date, and we save a dated copy of each source we can, so a citation still holds if the page later changes.
• Residents can flag a court we missed or got wrong. Nothing changes on one person's say-so; we check it against the records first.

From the founder

I've been playing pickleball since 2011. As a kid, my brother and I stood up at a Carlsbad City Council meeting alongside dozens of local players, at the end of a few years of organizing that won the dedicated pickleball courts at Poinsettia Park.

What actually moved the council was real numbers and real residents showing up, and that's the whole idea behind PaddleClub: make that playbook easy for any city, with court counts a council can trust and a simple way for residents to say they want more.
